These statement stitched bead necklaces are made from lots of squirrelled away bits and bobs that we have been collecting for years!

The faux black leather background has been saved since 1999 when Ruth was using it at art school, the sequins are from her great aunt's collection, the plastic beads are from some 80's kids bracelets we bought a few years ago, and the mirrored acrylic jewel shapes are cut out from some off-cuts that another maker gave us about 10 years ago!

Ruth has spent some happy hours stitching them all together into these one-of-a-kind necklaces.

As you can see from the pics the mirrored acrylic looks dramatically different in different lights.

The necklaces measure approx 14cm wide by 8cm high, and have a 50 cm grosgrain ribbon attached on each side, with an adjustable slider, making it easy to take on and off and adjust the length!
